Fresh Produce

Fresh and frozen vegetables are preferred when compared to canned items.  I only use canned vegetables on rare occasions for quick, simple meals.  After purchasing fresh vegetables, I am faced with the challenge of eating them before they "go bad".  The best way that I have found to eat all of my fresh vegetables is to include them at breakfast, lunch, dinner, and some snacks.  It takes a focused effort on my part to eat veggies throughout the day.  When I consume them, I have more energy and feel less lethargic.  It is important to speak with medical professionals about the amount and how often veggies should be eaten.
