Increasing movement, step by step

I like to think of exercise in terms of "movement."  It is my goal to be able to "move" more.  This morning, I set my clock for 1 hour earlier in order to have time for "movement."  First, I went to the grocery store and parked a little further away from the building.  Next, I walked down every isle in order to get in extra steps.  I carried the groceries into the house and unloaded them.  Last, I walked up the small hill and around the corner to the mailbox. 

I would like to be able to get up and move--more than usual--at the same time daily for consistency.  I need to be more accountable in doing so.  As I have struggled with the temptation of eating girl scout cookies, my response is to set limits on how many I eat, move more throughout the day, and consume more water.  These are the small steps that I make in my journey to health and wellness.
