Splurge meals

I have been asked--what can I do when I have a meal that I don't follow my healthy eating plan??..... My answer is that I still track the meal as far as the nutritional information (calories, fat, protein, carbs, and veggies) is concerned.  I make adjustments in what I eat for the rest of the day. For example, if I eat a higher than normal carb meal, I may cut back on the carbs that I eat for the remaining meals in that day.  I try to remind myself to be encouraged, make healthy choices, and consider each moment an opportunity to do better.
