Tracking meals

One of the most important ways to manage weight is to track meals.  Many sources recommend a food diary.  I use informal methods and write on a disposable paper.  I calculate the number of carbs, protein, and veggies that I eat per day.  These calculations allow me to be aware of how much I am eating from various food groups.  It also provides a quick glance to determine if I have eaten enough or if I need to consume more.  Have a brief moment to write down the foods that you eat.
