Each day we face many opportunities to make choices. Know that deep within your heart that wellness is a journey. We must decide to focus on making positive lifestyle changes.
Today, I chose to cook a simple quick meal at home including a sandwich and soup for dinner. I resisted temptation to go out and grab something quick as take-out. My food tracker cell phone app indicated that I only had close to 500 calories left for my last meal of the day. By eating at home, I had the opportunity to have dinner with less calories, sodium, carbohydrates, and fat. I have a sense of calmness and relief when I make a good decision--such as resisting temptation.
